TERESA POPRAWSKI, MD, NEUROPSYCHIATRIST – CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

Dr. Teresa Poprawski serves as Chief Medical Officer at Relief Mental Health. She is a board-certified neuropsychiatrist, QEEG Diplomat, and an accomplished, executive-level medical administrator. Dr. Poprawski is passionate, caring, and dedicated to the study of brain-sciences. She draws on her knowledge and experience to find the best solution for each of her patients  Dr. Poprawski’s compassionate and positive attitude is, for lack of a better word, infectious to her patients and peers alike.

Dr. Poprawski specializes in the treatment of depression, OCD, and other conditions. Using TMS in conjunction with state-of-the-art diagnostics, Intranasal Esketamine, and collaborative interventions, Dr. Poprawski has a track record of outstanding results. She develops and applies a proprietary method of medication selection, recognizing that our technology is highly effective in the treatment of psychiatric conditions, especially in cases where traditional methods have failed or proved an inadequate level of relief.

RACQUEL SAN JUAN, DO – MEDICAL DIRECTOR – Warren, NJ

Dr. San Juan is a board-certified psychiatrist passionate about helping patients with depression, anxiety, OCD, and other mental health diagnoses using a combination of medication, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, and Spravato (esketamine).  She received her DO from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Psychiatry residency at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she was named Resident of the Year at the American Psychiatric Association annual meeting.  

Dr. San Juan is dedicated to treating patients with compassion. She has a history of positive outcomes, and is well respected in her field.  Patients find that Dr. San Juan’s approach to care is individualized and collaborative. 

JAMIE RAWL, PA-C

Jamie Rawl, state-licensed and nationally board-certified Physician Associate, forms strong therapeutic alliances with patients in order to provide high-quality, culturally competent care.  She offers psychiatric evaluations and medication support using innovative modalities designed to diagnose and treat a variety of challenges.

Jamie earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Rush University and her Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Dominican University. During her training, she received academic and clinical training in multiple fields including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, family medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, and more. She completed medical rotations at Hartgrove Hospital, Haymarket Center, and Edward Hines VA Hospital treating a broad range of psychiatric disorders.

In addition to evaluation and management, Jamie specializes in the administration of psychedelic therapy to patients suffering from treatment-resistant depression.

DIANE “DEE” SHALLCROSS, PMHNP-BC

Dee Shallcross, PMHNP, offers nonjudgmental care to help clients gain improvement in mood and functionality. Her goal is to work with clients to bolster coping strategies, reframe negative thinking, and improve overall quality of life. Dee is licensed and qualified to diagnose and prescribe medications for a variety of mental health conditions across the lifespan.
Over the last decade, Dee worked in community mental health on a crisis stabilization team. During that time, she served clients living with serious mental illnesses. Her role was to stabilize their mental health, increase natural support, improve coping strategies, and find medications to optimize wellness.
During treatment, Dee helps clients feel comfortable sharing honest truths and offers a safe space to analyze progress and work collaboratively towards identified goals. In every case, she encourages clients to be the driving force behind their treatment plan.

JACQUELINE ARANT, NP

Jacqueline Arant, psychiatric nurse practitioner, puts patients at ease by creating a comfortable, supportive space to address their concerns. She wants patients to leave feeling good about the treatment they receive and look forward to returning. Throughout her career,  Jacqueline worked in hospital systems and clinics helping people cope with complex neurological and behavioral conditions. She serves adult clients struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and more.
During treatment, Jacqueline uses active listening and works with other providers to create custom treatment plans, often connecting patients to additional resources they may not have considered. In every case, she makes sure each patient leaves feeling like they are one step closer to healing.

CAROLINE ONISCHAK, NP

Caroline Onischak, psychiatric nurse practitioner, wants to know your story. She strives to make patients feel heard, seen, and understood and is a compassionate, nonjudgmental presence for patients to share their past experiences and current goals. She combines this understanding with her expertise in medicine, neuroscience, and trauma informed care to offer the best treatments possible.

Caroline cares about your health and brings her expertise to find solutions for you. Earlier in her career, she created and presented talks to state and national nurse organizations on medical mimics of psychiatric disorders and on the connection between childhood trauma and adult illness. From the simplest to the most complex case, these insights inform her care.
